About Us

Karaçayır Wind Power Plant is located on Çeltek Mountain location in the central district of Sivas. The power plant started to generate electricity in September 2016. The power plant operated by Mursal Energy within the body of CS Energy is 634^th largest power plant in Turkey and 12^th in Sivas with an installed capacity of 10 MWe.  Karaçayır Wind Power Plant will generate 29 million kWh of energy per year and reduce emission equivalent to 17,313 tons of CO₂. This value corresponds to the amount of CO₂ consumed by 865,650 trees per year. Karaçayır WPP is listed according to the Gold Standard certification phases and its validation process still continues.
